About the Role:
Come Out To The Country! Join our dedicated veterinary team at New Prague Animal Care PA as a Part-Time Associate Veterinarian! This exciting opportunity allows you to provide compassionate care to small animals while enjoying excellent compensation and a flexible schedule that fits your lifestyle. Work 2-4 shifts per week, no pager, no on-call, no weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive examinations and diagnose medical conditions in dogs and cats
- Perform routine surgical procedures and dental care
- Administer vaccinations and preventative treatments
- Provide client education on pet health and wellness
- Collaborate with a team of veterinary professionals to ensure high-quality care
- Maintain accurate medical records and treatment plans
- Participate in continuing education to stay current with veterinary practices
- Assist in the training and mentoring of support staff
Requirements:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, licensed in Minnesota or ability to obtain
- 3+ years of previous work experience as a veterinarian with demonstrated surgical confidence
- Current DEA License/USDA Accreditation or ability to obtain upon hire
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and dedicated to small animal welfare
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation: $90,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
We are a private, independently-owned, small animal exclusive practice, established in 2004, located in the beautiful rural community of New Prague, Minnesota, just 45 minutes south of Minneapolis/St. Paul. We are seeking experienced, talented, and team-oriented team members for full-time or part-time flex positions: Associate Veterinarian (FT or PT Flex), Certified Veterinary Technicians, Veterinary Technician Assistants.
